BrightLife Technologies Pty Ltd (“BrightLife”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website at brightlifetech.com and the Family Hub application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website or join our waitlist.
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at hello@brightlifetech.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Email address — when you join the waitlist.
Information collected automatically
When you submit the waitlist form, we automatically record the following technical signals to understand where signups are coming from. No personal profiling is performed from these fields.

- Viewport dimensions and device pixel ratio
- Timezone
- UTM campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content)
We also use Vercel Analytics (a privacy-focused analytics product) to collect aggregated, anonymised page-view data. This does not use cookies and does not track you across websites.
3. How we use your information
- To notify you when Family Hub is ready for early access.
- To understand the geographic and device breakdown of our waitlist (using the technical signals above).
- To respond to enquiries sent to our contact email.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your email address for advertising purposes or share it with advertisers.
4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR / Australian Privacy Act)
We process your email address on the basis of your consent given when you submit the waitlist form. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us and we will delete your entry from our waitlist.
Automatically collected technical signals are processed on the basis of our legitimate interests in understanding our audience, subject to those interests not overriding your fundamental rights.
5. Data storage and security
Waitlist data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore (Google Cloud Platform, data at rest encrypted by default). Google Cloud complies with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and the Australian Privacy Act.
We implement reasonable technical safeguards including access controls, least-privilege IAM policies, and Firestore security rules that restrict direct client access to your data.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you become aware of a security concern, please contact us immediately at hello@brightlifetech.com.
6. Data retention
We retain your email address until:
- You request deletion, or
- Family Hub has launched and we have sent the launch notification, after which waitlist data is deleted within 90 days, or
- We decide not to proceed with Family Hub, at which point waitlist data is deleted within 30 days of that decision.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information (right to erasure).
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@brightlifetech.com with the subject line “Privacy Request”. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
Our website does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Vercel Analytics, which we use for page-view statistics, is cookie-free. Your browser may store local session state, but this is not transmitted to us.
